WHAT: We are offering tips and techniques from a certified professional dog trainer.
WHY: To help you keep your dog under control is designated off-leash areas.
WHERE: Saturday, October 22 at Falconridge Park

*NEW LOCATION* AUBURN BAY OFF LEASH DOG PARK from 11am-2pm, Sat Oct 22.
This Saturday there will be FREE hot chocolate, cookies and hand warmers (if needed) for the Off-Leash Ambassador event at the Auburn Bay Off Leash Dog Park from 11-2! The City will have 3 Certified Professional Dog Trainers from Animal Services available for you to ask questions for techniques and tools to have your dog "come when called" to have control of your dog in the off-Leash park.
The City will also have a resource fair of other services and information. Calgary Community Standards partners with Calgary Parks and we will have a P.U.P.P.Y. booth. Royal Pooch Pet Services will be providing information on Walk N Wag Pet First Aid Courses. Community Standards (formerly Animal & Bylaw Services) will also have Animal officers available for licensing and questions and the Prevention & Public Awareness Team for information, education and poop bags and dog water bowls. Councillor Shane Keating will be attending (on his birthday!) to hear your questions, concerns and giveaways for you and your dogs!
Weather forecast calls for 11 degrees and a mix of sun and clouds. Come on out with dogs and family!
